Peer Support Line
631-471-7242 ext. 1217
Saturdays 5:00pm-10:00pm and Sundays 2:00pm-7:00pm
Our Peer Support Line offers one-to-one telephone mutual support for people who experience emotional distress, extreme and/or altered states of consciousness, substance use, labels of psychiatric diagnosis, and/or who are trauma survivors. People are also welcome to call and say hello or to share information, hope, joys, fears, successes and hardships in a ‘most’ safe space co-created to mutually support, heal, and grow together.
Our Peer Support line is staffed by trained, New York Certified Peer Specialist, Provisionals (NYCPS-P) who have their own experience with emotional distress.
While the line is operated during the weekend hours noted above, you are welcome to leave a message anytime and it will be returned that following weekend.
If your situation is urgent, please call the 24/7 Response Hotline at (631) 751-7500.
