Keynote speaker Nina Vinik, JD, Founder and Executive Director of Project Unloaded, will provide an overview of gun violence, its impact on youth and a new approach to reducing gun violence through narrative and culture change, leveraging the power of social media and Gen Z to create a new cultural narrative centered on the risks of using guns. Additional presenters: Katie Peinovich, LCSW, Child Mind Institute, and Sergio Argueta, LMSW, Founder of STRONG Youth, Inc.

Brunswick Hospital Center presents the 13th Annual MHAW Chili Cook-Off and Fall Festival, a day where Long Islanders can enjoy the most diverse, delicious, and creative meat and vegan chili dishes from local food establishments, area businesses, and local talent. Trophies will be given in several categories including a “People’s Choice” award. It's a fun-filled afternoon with one-of-a-kind vendors, food, beverages, and children’s games. All proceeds from this event support emotional wellness and programs for veterans.
