Children who have experienced trauma often have unmet attachment needs, which can cause severe emotional, behavioral, and cognitive developmental issues. Attachment interventions can access and repair relational wounds where behavioral and cognitive interventions are less effective. This presentation will teach multiple attachment interventions including proving physical touch, posturing, engaging in rhythmic movement, creating masks, drawing, role playing, and raising pets.
