Children’s Conference

As part of our series of trainings for mental health professionals, we hold seminars and workshops several times each year specifically aimed at educating professionals who work with children and adolescents receiving mental health services.

Our goal is to ensure quality services for children and adolescents living with mental illness by helping to keep professionals up-to-date on current research and strategies for interventions.

We invite top speakers from around the country to participate in our full-day workshops.

Closing the Screen Door: Understanding and Treating Problematic Screen Use in Children

Thursday 10/9/2025; 9am-1pm

Learn how to identify what constitutes excessive and addictive screen use, how unhealthy screen use impacts neurological, emotional, social and academic development, ways in which excessive screen use is treated and how underlying mental health diagnoses may exacerbate screen use, and resources to help promote healthy screen use.

Trauma Informed Practice with Youth Across Settings

Friday 11/21/2025; 9am-3pm

Explore trauma and brain science through a user-friendly, strengths-based lens, ensuring real-world relevance in a variety of settings. Participants will have an opportunity to review and adapt strategies that are trauma-informed and resilience-boosting for varied practice settings.
