Housing

Supported Housing

Our Supportive Housing program provides dignified homes for 20 people who are in recovery from mental illness. Our houses and apartments are located in Brookhaven, Islip and Riverhead Townships. Participation in our program includes assistance to work with each person to achieve the highest level of independence possible. Our hope is that this level of assistance can help our participants gain skills and supports that will allow them to consider opportunities for higher levels of financial independence and asset development. Funds are provided by the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYSOMH).

Veterans Housing

The mission of our Veteran Housing Program is To help regain entry into society and attain residential stability, self-sufficiency, and economic independence. It is achieved by providing nine units of permanent housing for Veterans with supportive services from veteran peers. We also establish linkages with community providers to obtain information, resources, and services which will empower formerly homeless Veterans and facilitate their successful reintegration into society.
