What are the connections between trauma, mental health, and substance abuse? Based on SAMHSA’s TIP 57, this workshop explores the impact of trauma, looks at screening procedures, and argues for trauma informed care. Treatment options are explored, with suggestions for organizations wanting to provide trauma informed care.
