Give to our Annual Appeal

Our 23-bed Vets Place shelter in Yaphank, NY serves over 200 homeless Veterans each year who face challenges of post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, depression, anxiety, unresolved grief and loss, and serious long-term health issues.

That is why this holiday season we are asking you to help us to renovate and expand The Vets Place campus to create a new community hub for our Veteran services. When complete, The Vets Place will have an expanded dining area multi-purpose space, additional meeting and office space, and improved disability accessibility.

The enhancements will provide greater privacy to support sensitive individual and group conversations. In addition to larger community meals, the improved space will be better able to host community presentations, reaching an even broader audience.

With your contribution, our new Vets Place -- slated for completion this summer -- will help us reach and change the fortunes of countless Veterans.
