SUMMARY:Introduction to the Diagnosis and Treatment of OCD
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will introduce clinicians to the diagnosis and treatment of OCD. Clinicians can expect to learn how to identify OCD symptoms and make a diagnosis. They will also be introduced to the empirically-supported cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) treatment for OCD known as exposure and response prevention (ERP). Presenter: Christine D’Urso\, PhD\, is a senior psychologist/training coordinator at the Northwell Health OCD Center and assistant professor of psychiatry at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. \n
